Hi Kim,
I just wanted to drop a note and let you know how Oliver is doing. He is now 5 months old, weighs 35 pounds and is the best thing we ever brought into our home. House training him was a breeze (we did crate train). He has taken to obedience classes with such ease and loves going to school. He catches on extremely quickly and loves learning new things. He will be going onto agility in spring. Thank you so much for a wonderful dog. I have had no problems with allergies with him. I can't say enough wonderful things about him! Anyone who wants a dog as great as him will be referred to you!

Hi Kim!
I got puppy #4 (from Lady x Spirit litter) on Friday night and she is just beautiful and perfect! I decided to name her Duchess. She is adjusting very well, no problems at all. She's also been very very good about going potty outside. I have been taking her out about every 2 hours and within 2 minutes she does her business and then romps around the yard, playing with the leaves. Yesterday she even told me when she needed to go out. She walked over to the door, then over to me and back to the door. I asked her "Do you need to go outside?" and she started jumping up and down. I was so thrilled! She is very smart! She has her first vet appointment on Friday. I am so extremely happy with her! She is a doll! I promise you I'm going to take such great care of her and she's going to have the most wonderful life any puppy could ever have! I have attached some pictures of her first weekend home and I promise I will send pictures of her in the future as she grows! Thank you so much Kim for this perfect little addition to my family!!

Hello Kim,

We got a puppy from you last June 2010 (you met my husband and kids at the pet store in Wausau) who was born April 8th.  His name is Louie and he is a great dog.  I have a pottery shop in Door County and he hangs out in there with me often and he loves all of my customers and they just love him.  I have had several people ask for your information, so I wouldn't be surprised if you have heard from a few.  Anyway, I thought I would send you a photo of him.  He is about 23 pounds now, doesn't shed at all and is pretty easy to train.  He is very playful and loves to snuggle on the couch.  He gets along great with kids and other animals (he is pretty much all you said he would be!)  Thanks so much for the great dog and I will keep sending people your way.  Take care, Renee'

Hi Kim,

Just wanted to let you know that the first day went terrific!  "Pippin" slept most of the ride home and seems to be adjusting very well to his new home.  Even our Elizabeth - who as you might recall had originally wanted the darker brown pup with no tail - agreed that he was the cutest puppy ever.  He slept through the first night (in one of our daughter's beds) where he only moved to snuggle up against her, as he's obviously used to doing with his siblings.  He has no accidents during the night and went potty as soon as we let him early this morning.  Incredibly, after one full day, he still has not had a single accident indoors - he's obviously a smart little guy, and very, very sweet!  We can see him starting to relax and become more playful every hour.  He's such a sweetheart, we have to keep correcting ourselves from saying "her" instead of "him!"

We took him to the vet this afternoon and he checked out fine, although they would like to verify with you about some of the details of the vaccinations he has received so they are certain exactly what remains to be done.  We didn't understand the technicalities, so they asked for your phone number so they could just give you a call to clarify, so please expect a call from our vet's office (Highland Animal Hospital) in the next day or two to just clarify that info.  FYI, they were all oohing and aahing over him as well, saying he was one of the cutest puppies they had seen - and their first Aussiedoodle!  He was the star of the show there!

Thanks again, Kim, and we'll be in touch!

All the best,

Mark, Mary, Elizabeth & Catherine Culhane

Hi Kim,
We love her so much!! Her name is Coco because of her color. It fits her perfectly! She is so energetic and determined! She's smart too. She figures everything out, like how to climb up and over the puppy gate we have! The vet check was fine. They were very impressed with your record keeping! She's doing good with potty training. Just a few accidents but mostly our fault. I'll send pictures soon.

Hi Kim,
How's it going with you and all your dogs?
Things are going great with us and Scotty.  He is a great dog.  He was worth every penny we paid for him. My computer is down so I'm at the library now.
Scotty is going to be a good cow dog.  He likes the cows. has no fear of them but respects machinery.    He is very smart.   Doing really good in the house.  He no longer has to sleep in pet taxi.  He has graduated to sleeping on his bed in our bedroom. Keep the door closed at night.  Scotty puts his paws up on the side of the bed and wakes Bob when he has to go potty. Scotty is a happy pampered pooch.  Lucky dog.
Better get home now.  Just had to let you know how our little boy is doing.
Bye
Julie & Scotty

Hi Kim,
My computer will not let me put new pictures on my computer so I can only send what is already saved. My favorite picture is of my grandson Bradyn holding Scotty. Picture taken in Mankato , MN. Also sending a cute pic of Scotty playing with a cat.
He had a leach on cuz he was going threw a phase of selective hearing and I had to step on his leach to catch him at times.  He's much better now.

Scotty is going to be a very good, smart herding  dog.  He is learning to help bring up the horses. I put him on a long leach so he doesn't get trampled.  He does have common sence around the horses but I know horses can be alot worse then cattle and god forbid I don't want anything to happen to our little boy. He is so precious.
Scotty now rides on the tractor every morning I work with Bob and Rascal when Bob does chores at horse barn. We have 3 farms here.  Bob said he is learning to jump up the steps on tractor.  And I help get in my truck by lifting his butt. I think he is just spoiled.
School was done today so someday I want to come visit you and bring Scotty along.  I have a summer job lined up so that will help me get his papers and some day I want to get a female, maybe a black tri.
Anybody looking for a small, intelligent cow dog, I'll send them your way cuz your dogs are just that.
Sincerly

Kim –

I just wanted to sent you a note about the standard aussiedoodle puppy my family brought home from your kennel.  What a great family pet -  everything you would want – great disposition and temperament, very intelligent, lots of fun, no shedding, wonderful with kids, very social with other animals, and also very quiet – she does not bark unnecessarily.  She stays home and does not wander off.  She loves companionship so she is always around us.  She has a lot of energy, but is not hyper.  We have five kids and she has no trouble interacting with the kids at all.  I read that aussiedoodles are not great guard dogs, but I would have to say that ours is an excellent guard dog in the sense that she is very aware of who or what is in the vicinity of our property.  She is not aggressive and does not charge at other people or dogs, so that may be the distinction, but I do not doubt that she would protect if forced into that situation.   Also, people are constantly approaching us wanting to know what kind of dog she is, commenting on how cute and smart she is.  I have recommended this type of dog to several people already.  Thanks again for a great family pet.  James

Hi Kim
Taeya is a great dog.  She passed her check up with flying colors.
Potty training is going quite well.  She is an extremely smart dog.   She does not like to be crated, she has peed, thrown up and peed and pooped the three times that I tried, so I have worked out a routine with her and so far, no accidents in two days.  She now will pee on the training pads when I leave her in her room.
She is very afflectionate, loves people and gets along well with other dogs.  Everyone that meets her wants to keep her. Especially since no one has ever seen an Aussiedoodle before. Perhaps you should email our president elect and offer him one of the remaining litter.
She has not met my son's other dog yet, but has had two play dates already and they both went very well.  She is playful, energetic for a while and then crashes hard.
My son took some pictures and as soon as I find his camera, I will send you some.

Hi Kim,
Ozzie is doing great. We are totally in love with his sweet disposition. He is calm, yet playful. And very smart. The entire five days up at our friend's lake house, he did not have a single accident. We purchased a small crate and he is doing fantastic with the crate training. Only two accidents so far total, and his crate stays dry... he lets us know at night if he needs to go out.

I've attached a couple of pictures. Ozzie is fitting into our family beautifully and the kids are totally in love.

Thanks again!

Hi Kim -

Oreo is doing awesome, he has adjusted really well to
our home. The kids (and us) love him to pieces, my
husband already has his sleeping in bed with us and he
goes EVERYWHERE with us!

Every Tues and Sat he goes to Denver's flag football
games and yesterday he went up to the kids school for
"blessing of the pets" with the bishop, he was a big
hit!

I think you will be getting a lot of hits on your
website, everyone that sees his picture or meets him
just loves him! Even my parents (Bryce and Denver's
grandma and grandpa) can't stop talking about him!!!!

Thanks so much, he is such a joy to us!

Kim,

Just a short note to let you know we are absolutely stupid over this puppy.
Kit, my husband named her Baby Bleu She is so playful, but also very calm
and the most lovable little thing I have ever seen. She has no chance of
being anything other than absolutely spoiled. Kit insisted that she
needed to bond with us so she now has a permanent sleeping place right
between us. She is so good and sleeps through the night taking turns
between being right up next to me and being right up next to him. She lets
me know when she needs to get up to potty and has been really amazingly
easy to keep on a potty schedule that works.

Her vet appointment went well..they were smitten with her as well.
Everything checked out fine. We will take her back on March 10th for her
next round of shots.

All 3 of us are going to obedience school starting on March 31st. I have
discovered she is very stubborn with regards to the leash. I was going to
walk her to the vet but she wasn't having any part of that leash, so we
ended up going in the car. Probably just as well, because I don't want her
to associate going on walks with the vet.

I hate to say this, but we are having very beautiful 70 to 80 degree
weather here so we will be spending a lot of time out doors with her. We
may try to introduce her to the pool this weekend !

Is there anything I need to send back to you at this point?

Thank you so much for breeding this beautiful puppy. I have to say that
speaking to you and reading your web site was one of the biggest reasons I
chose her. She is such a joy and I know we are going to have many
wonderful years with her.

Michelle

Here are some pictures of our not so little girl anymore. We named her
Sprocket. She is a ball of fire. She was just fixed and that isn't slowing
her down at all. We are going to start agility here soon I hope. She is
definately willing to work and learn new things. She is very smart and
catches on really fast. So here are some pictures. We have a lot of them
because i am always taking pictures of her. The one was of her on the first
day we brought her home, the rest were just taken on 9-14-07.

Hey Kim,
Just a quick note to let you know how Abigial is doing. She is 7 months old now and I can't tell you how much I enjoy this little girl.  She has to be the smartest puppy I have ever had.  She practically housebroke herself once she understood what she was supposed to do.  Her biggest thrill in life is running flat out with the horses, and  I never worry about her because she seems to have an instinctive knowledge of how to handle herself around them.  Everywhere we go she turns heads.  She is a beautiful, healthy puppy with a wonderful temperament. Thanks so much for my little girl!!

Good Morning Kim,

Just a quick note to let you know that Tucker is a joy.  He is a quick learner and we are having fun with a puppy in the house.  It is about 23 yrs since we had a puppy.  Our full sized Aussie was over 15 yrs when we had to put her down.  We received our German Shepherd when she was 4 yrs old and we had to put her down at 12 years.  Tucker is house broken and crate trained.  He is still learning to enjoy riding in a car.

Good Morning Kim,
The puppy is awesome.  I named him Jackson.  He is so wonderful.  He loves my yard and has yet to leave its boundaries.  He walks right by my side at all times.  I have decided not to walk him off the property as I had with my beagle.  Jackson seems to be content with the yard.  We play everyday and he loves to run and fetch, and bring back his toy.  He can jump quite high for a little guy and runs like the wind.  He sleeps on the floor next to my bed on a little blanket and pillow thing I set up.  He has only had a few accidents in the house so potty training is good.  Jackson is also a great swimmer.  He loves the water and jumped off the pier last weekend!!!! He is so much fun.  take care. Julie

Hi Kim

One of my friends asked me who had the biggest influence on me in 2009 and I said you, as it was the year we received our wonderful dogs. It was in January my husband decided he wanted a minature australian shepherd. I wanted a little dog but wasn't sure what. Well, we drove up there and Jim got Duke and you placed a little aussiedoodle girl in my arms and she is the best I ever had. We named her Daisy and she is great. Then in September we again drove up and got Daisy's half brother Derby. He is such a nut and cute as a button. The aussiedoodles love to travel and they have been to Mississippi, South Dakota, and Minnesota. Duke is Ok with it but really is a homebody.

I take Daisy three times a week to the nursing home and she is the favorite there, All of the residents know her name (even tho sometimes they can't remember their own grandchildren).

So again thank you for breeding such wonderful dogs!

Hi Kim, My wife and I bought Brewski (a blue merle Aussie-Doodle) from you just over a year ago.  I wanted to write you to tell you that our baby is doing great!  Brewski is my best buddy spending most of the day working in my office with me.  He is super smart and surprises us every day with just how smart he is!  He is also gets along great with our older dog, Hula a 4 year old Cock-a-poo.  They are best friends!  I have attached some pictures of him we took recently. He’s around a  year and three months.

Thanks again for a great dog!

Hi Kim,
OMGosh - I am in love!  This little guy is such a sweetheart.  We named him Windsor.  He is so smart - catches on to everything so quickly.  He has a great temperament and he's so darned cute!  He hasn't had one accident in the house, and after only about 2 minutes of whining the first night, settled down into his crate like he'd been in it every night.  He did well for his bath and pretty good for grooming - wasn't too terribly impressed with getting his face cleaned up or his ear hair pulled!! He was good though. Windsor enjoys the couch and our bed, and is a total cuddler.  He loves to climb in my lap when I'm in my rocker, and we snooze together - should be fun when he's full grown!! He begins obedience on the 23rd at "Rude Dog U" and I'm looking forward to it.
I will attach a couple of pictures.  Thanks again.  Windsor is very, very loved and I will keep in touch.

Hi Kim, yes please have your clients call me about their shipping concerns.  Tess is fabulous.  I crate trained her from day one and she slept through the night the second night in the crate.  She usually goes to beds around 9:00 and sleeps unitl 7-8 the next AM.  She is growing and is absolutely the best puppy I have ever had.  Lots of fun and very interested in everything.  She loves other animals and is always willing to play.  I have had her in the car on a trip the past two weeks and she has no problems sleeping in her crate for 3-4 hours.  Very bright and alert.  I would recommend an aussiedoodle puppy to anyone.  She goes everywhere with me and people can not believe her beautiful colorations and big blue eyes.  Definitely a keeper.  I will pass along your information to anyone interested in a puppy.  Thanks for everything, Eldridge and Tess.

Hi Kim.

Jazz is doing fantastic.  Abby and Jazz are currently in a puppy kindergarten class and he is so bright.  Everyone keeps asking us what kind of dog he is.  People with Australian Shepherds can pick up that he is part that.  He is healthy and growing like a weed.  He has a hard time being left in his crate but finally is sleeping through the night with no crying.  We are currently working on leaving him during the day which he does not like.  He gets all worked up in that crate.  We have faith that this to will pass as he grows.  If some future customer would like to contact us that would be fine.  So far, this experience even though it was our first time buying a puppy this way has been great.  Unfortunately, it is those breeders out there who do it for the wrong reasons make it difficult.  Your website convinced Abby that you run your business honestly.  It was a big risk for her heart to do this after losing her first puppy to a neurological disease.

Thank you for this beautiful gift, Jazz.

Hi Kim,

Well, I have had him a week and so much fun and love love him---he is really a sweetheart---Amigo---think he is really a farm dog ---we have been to the vet and all is well---am taking him in the morn to the groomer---just for a little trim around his eyes, on his feet and bottom---my boyfriend died in May and he was a real animal lover—then soon I lost my old dog, Toro---so Amigo is just simply perfect for me---he is wonderful---and I can’t thank you enough for him----am enclosing one picture but have not had good luck with taking good pictures of him---but I will do better and send them to you----he has been with us to feed cattle and he rode in the Polaris Ranger and loved it---I have left him very few times in the short time he has been with me---

Thank you again ! You are a great gal!

Kim,
I wanted to thank you again for my wonderful experience buying a puppy from you.  We are so in love with our little Aussiedoodle, Daisy.  From my initial contact with you to her arrival at my home, everything went perfect.  As you know, I had lots of questions and concerns.  You were so responsive and patient with everything.  I had lots of concerns about shipping such a small dog so far (from Wisconsin to Texas).  But everything went just as you said it would.  She delights us everyday.

I would encourage anyone interested in buying one of your puppies, to be assured it will be a great transaction and you will be delighted with your new family member.  If I can ever give a personal reference regarding my experience, please let me know.

Hi Kim -

After a long, rainy ride home, Gracie has been adjusting well.  She and Harley play and sleep together every day.  It's just like having a newborn baby - 2-3 hours of sleep, then play, then 2-3 hours of sleep.  We have found Gracie loves car rides and follows Jonny wherever he goes.  She is a VERY smart dog!  She has also transitioned to outside potty training very quickly, and she will have her first checkup this week.

I have attached two nice photos - one of Gracie and one of Gracie and Harley.  Thanks again,

Well, we got little Franceen poodle home and do we love her!!   I probably should of just gotten two from you... I think she would be happier if she had someone to play with.
Anyway, she went to the beauty shop and looks great... I just got the puppy cut, but, she has been warm so next time will probably cut her down all the way.   Anyway, if you're ever in the city, give me a buzz if you'd like to see her.

Hi Kim!

Well, Stuart turned 6 on the 11th and Archie will turn 1 tomorrow, the 22nd.
Stu weighs just a bit over 50 lbs while Archie is closing in on 60 lbs.
Stu is 24"+ while Archie is on his way to 26".  Archie's color had stayed very
much the same, with beautiful black points.  His coat is no longer a puppy coat,
but not quite a real adult coat either.  I get so many compliments on his color.
Many people have never seen a Red Standard Poodle.

Stuart remains the true gentleman.  He cuddles up in a ball in bed and lays his
head very softly on the pillow.  Archie flops heavily on me and his head lands like a rock
also on me.  He really wants me to know that he is there.  He stretches out and takes over
the bed.  He is a warm dog, always trying to cool by airing out his tummy.

Stuart has reached Excellent in Rally, then RAE, the Champion level.  It takes 10 days of qualifying in Advanced and Excellent, on the same days.  That makes him RAE.  He is on the way to RAE2, we have 3 legs for that now.

Archie has been a challenge!  Although there is not even the tiniest meanness in him,
there is an extreme exuberance and love of every little thing in his life!  He doesn't just come to eat...he leaps and bounds into the kennel to be fed.  He is so fast outside!!!
I thought Stu was fast, but Stu is under complete control.  Archie "burns rubber"and moves like a flash with less control and absolutely no fear.

A lot of time has been spent on discipline.  He is a bit mouthy, always wanting to have your hand or clothes in his mouth.  He playfully nips my but, that stinker.  He thinks everything is a game.  He is an excellent catch with balls and Frisbees.  I throw balls all night, whatever else I'm doing, and wait for him to put them in my hand before throwing again.  He sometimes sets them on the coffee table and uses his nose to roll them across the table to me.  He picks on the other dogs playfully, until they tell him to knock it off.  We are not as far as I had hoped with some training things, but the other day when we went to train, he saw Stu do a dumbbell retrieve over a high jump.  He seemed very interested so I let him try.
You would not have believed how he took the jump, went directly to pick up the dumbbell, and took the jump back to me with the dumbbell!  I was shocked!  He just didn't do a sit in front with the dumbbell.  Some people work many, many months just to get their dogs to take the dumbbell in their mouth!  We have done a little bit of dumbbell work ever since he got here.  It paid off.

Stuart can get tired of training, even pooped at a show after waiting all morning to show twice.  Archie however, probably needs a  walk before training just to take the edge off.
They both love to go in the RV.  If they think I am loading or getting it ready, they drive me nuts, and once outside, they scramble for the RV and all but plaster themselves all over the door.  It's a hoot to watch.

Well, as different as they are, they are a lot alike.

Archie and I have finally bonded very closely.  It took a while, partly because I am sooo close to Stuart and partly because Archie can be a bit distracted and actually had to slow down long enough to get close.  Things are looking very good here at a year...doesn't seem possible that my baby is a year old.  The puppy thing is cute...but I love it when they become "your dog".  Archie is now the one who follows me out of the room and has to know where I am every single minute.  He is still very independent, but he sure knows who mom is and wants a close relationship.  He is getting much more praise these days, and he has earned it.  The lady I take classes from absolutely loves his spunk and is sure he is extremely smart.  She says he is her favorite kind of dog...he loves to train and is enthusiastic about everything!

I could keep talking about my boys all  night.  Instead, I'll put in a few pictures...

Standard Poodles

Hi Kim,

Thought I would send some pictures...for your web site.
I will also send some other less formal pictures.

I am so proud of him...he is so special!  I am doing all his grooming now.
I am so hooked on Standard Poodles.  I also teach an Obedience class.

On to Open Obedience and possibly Rally.  We do some Agility also, but
Obedience is my favorite.

You should be very proud of your breeding skills!

Let me know if you ever have more apricots.

Nancy and Stuart
